The Sunday Post 7/30/17: Camp NaNoWriMo was a fail

Life and everything else

Folks, I sucked it up big time with Camp NaNoWriMo. I wrote very few words, but I did get some plotting done. So as soon as all the release day madness is done, I’ll be working on Cami’s book. I can’t wait for you to meet Travis.

I’m also rereading the Morganville Vampire series, so look for some “Revisited” posts in the future. I’m still loving these characters as much as I did the first time I read them.

Summer sucks. Seriously, I loathe summer in TX. It’s hot, and just awful. I’m not a fan of sweating non-stop.  It doesn’t help that I decided I’m going to run a 5K in September. So, of course, I’m training during the hottest part of the year. *sigh* I also hurt my knee last weekend. I tried running on it Thursday, and that was not my brightest idea. No more running for at least a week while I wait for it to heal.

How are y’all? Are you enjoying summer? Is it hot where you are?

  1. Summers in Texas do suck. We had to walk the block around the hospital yesterday, and by the time we entered the doors my clothes were stuck to me and I was sweaty everywhere. I found a better way in today! Sorry to hear about your knee. Ice it for 20 minutes. I hope you’ll be up and out in a week. Good luck with your training – that is dedication!
