Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is: Holiday gift guide.
I’m going to be covering bookish gifts rather than books. Honestly Etsy has sooo many great things from this list.
Okay! I’m a huge self help junkie! So I’m going to take this time to spew out some of my favorite self help-ish books that I really have gifted to some people in my life!
The Reason by Lacey Sturm
Save Me From Myself by Brian “Head” Welch
The Four Lovers by CS Lewis
David And Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, And The art of Battling Giants by Malcolm Gladwell
Man’s Search For Meaning by Viktor E Frankl
And if you have someone who really likes crime novels, I want to specifically recommend The Forgotten Girls by Sara Blaedel.
If they like poetry, my favorite is Ophelia Wears Black by Segovia Amil.
I would personally love it if someone invested in a few nice bookmarks for me this Christmas! I always find myself using receipts- or in dire situations, turning the page corner down. It’s annoying but I can never get myself to want to spend the $5 it costs to buy a nice one! So if you have a book lover, top off that gift with a few bookmarks that remind you of them. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it!
