Quickie Review

Edge of Surrender picks up where At the Edge left off.  Ryan is trying to figure out what happened to Emma and wants to protect her as much as he can. Emma has been taken, and we slowly find out what happened in the jungle and why.

I really liked Emma in this book. She shows that she can be more than a damsel in distress, but also likes when someone comes to save her butt.  She’s smart, and reveals some things she suspects. I admire her determination to find out the cause of everything that’s happened to her. I also really dislike her dad even more than I did before. Ryan is also better about going after what he wants in this installment.

These two had an instant connection, and that only grows deeper.  The energy runs high, and these two have to see what happens after everything is settled. Is it too soon to start something? Do they even really feel that deeply about each other? You’ll have to read to find out!
