Blurb: After leaving Society and desperately searching for the Rising—and each other—Cassia and Ky have found what they were looking for, but at the cost of losing each other yet again: Cassia has been assigned to work for the Rising from within Society, while Ky has been stationed outside its borders. But nothing is as predicted, and all too soon the veil lifts and things shift once again.
In this gripping conclusion to the #1 New York Times-bestselling Matched trilogy, Cassia will reconcile the difficulties of challenging a life too confining, seeking a freedom she never dreamed possible, and honoring a love she cannot live without.
What a great way to end this trilogy!
Reached is mostly told from the perspective of Cassia, Ky, and Xander. It is also broken up into parts. There are so many emotions to process while reading.
Ky and Cassia have finally found the Rising, and they have been sent to work in different areas. It seems like this group can’t catch a break. There is always an obstacle that blocks them from being with each other.
Even though they are all working for the Rising, this book is more about personal growth. Each of the situations the three go through brings them to the people they are at the end. There isn’t a ton of action, but it’s not really about that. It’s how you react. Each person has a purpose in the end.
We get some answers to the questions we had: who was the pilot? What was the real story behind Ky’s father? I also loved how voting was brought into the storylline.
This is a short review because I still can’t put into words how I feel about this book. I loved it, and couldn’t picture a better ending. You never know how what you do affects others. Who says the pilot has to be one person????
