Zeke Daniels isn't just a douchebag; he's an asshole. A total and complete jerk, Zeke keeps people at a distance. He has no interest in relationships-most assholes don't. Dating? Being part of a couple? Nope. Not for him. He's never given any thought to what he wants in a girlfriend, because he's never had any intention of having one. Shit, he barely has a relationship with his family, and they're related; his own friends don't even like him. So why does he keep thinking about Violet DeLuca? Sweet, quiet Violet-his opposite in every sense of the word. The light to his dark, even her damn name sounds like rays of sunshine and happiness and shit. And that pisses him off, too.

Quickie Review

After reading The Studying Hours, I didn’t think I would ever like Zeke Daniels. He’s such an ass in the first book, and I couldn’t stand him. But we get to know him better in this book. He see why he is the way he is, and why he makes stupid bets with people.

I absolutely adored Violet. She stood up for herself when she needed to, and didn’t take Zeke’s crap. I loved that she has such a caring heart, and wants to help people in any way she can.

The push and pull of these two had me turning the pages. Violet turns Zeke’s world upside down and it was so worth the ride. I highly recommend this series. The characters are fun, the attraction is amazing, and the journey to figure out what they are doing is entertaining.
