The Sunday Post 7/16/17: The summer is flying by…

Life and everything else

How in the hell is July already half way over??? The stores are stocking up with school supplies, and I’m over here thinking, “Not yet! Let them have a little more time.” Okay, so only a part of me is saying that. The other part is screaming yes!!! They are driving me crazy with all their extra energy.

So I’m in my reading groove. Which is great because I’m reading a ton of books. The not so great part? I’m not writing. I vowed to kick Camp NaNoWriMo ass this month, and I’ve barely made a dent. It’s still possible, though. I may not win this fight, but I’ll go down swinging.

In other news, our pool has a massive hole in it, so we have to replace the liner…again. The kids are not quite so happy about that, but they are learning to be creative with their playing.

How are y’all doing? What are you reading? Anything I need to add to my TBR?

On the interwebs

I’ve got nothing. With all the reading I’ve been doing, I haven’t been online as much. But I have thrown myself into the Bejeweled Blitz hole, and it helps with some of my anxiety. They even have a zen mode.  No matter what, you don’t run out of moves! Um, yes please! Always a winner!

  1. I know – I saw the school supply list carousels already up at the store and supply sales starting! NOOOOOOOO! I honestly need more summer this year. Good luck with your writing. Be consistent is what I keep hearing. Happy reading!
