The Sunday Post 5/21/17: Being an aunt is tough…

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life and everything else

I love being an aunt, but sometimes, it’s hard. I’m not even gonna lie.  Especially when you aren’t used to lying down with a little one anymore. Though, I’m super happy that he loves his aunt.

I haven’t read much this week.  It’s been hectic, and I just haven’t had much time.

Other than that, I’ve got nothing.  How have y’all been this week? I’m ready to finish getting the pool back in order and spending lazy summer nights in it.

Guess who’s back??? Back again???

It’s just me, not the Backstreet Boys. School is finally over, and I finished this semester off with a 4.0. Talk about proud. I might as well have cried for a week straight before finals, but I did it!  How did you guys like our podcast? It’s really cool to feel like y’all know us on a more personal level now. I mean, you now all know my FanFiction secret. What topics do you guys want us to talk about in the future? Any books you think we should read?
On a less positive note, I am very saddened about Chris Cornell’s death. If any of you feel like hurting yourself or others, please don’t. Try to talk to someone and get help. Mental health issues are nothing to be ashamed of. I have and will continue to freely talk about my issues, if only to help someone realize it doesn’t make you less of a person. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, call the suicide hotline. Suicide is never the answer. The world does need you. You are serving a purpose, and people do care.

I'm a mom of two and love to read, listen to music, and rock out at concerts. Sometimes you can find me reading, or writing, in between sets at concerts. I read many genres, and have a TBR mountain.
