The Sunday Post 3/12/17: More Daylight time…. YES!

Life and everything else

Guys, I’ll be happy when I can say that I haven’t been busy.  This one was definitely a busy one.  We went to our first hockey game with the Scouts on Wednesday. It was fun, but I can honestly say, I still don’t understand hockey.  Wee One was asking me questions, and I was like I have no clue… But ask me a football question, and I’m there. She had a school program Thursday, and I was ecstatic that she participated instead of just standing there like years before.  We also celebrated my sister’s birthday and made a trip to the bookstore.

And finally, while it sucks losing an hour of precious sleep, there are now more daylight hours! It will be nice getting home from work, and still being able to be outside for a few hours. That means… more family walks. (Which the kids are excited about.)

So how have y’all been? What are you reading? Are y’all ready for Spring?

Life and everything else

Life has been on such an upward slope lately! Last week I disappeared because I spent a whole week at a conference. And I was so excited to be home and to myself. Being an introvert is hard work y’all.

Ive successfully avoided doing any school work for two weeks without falling behind. I don’t know how that happens or if I’m just missing something. I do know it’s pretty sweet but scary. I think next week, in between work and South By Southwest, I need to take the notes I’ve avoided and make my study plans.

  1. I will also enjoy the light longer, but still grumble about all this time change mess. Do we really need it anymore? I was always nervous for school or church plays or songs. I wish I could have gone back and redone those with some of my high school/college confidence!
