Life and everything else

This past week was pretty awesome. I got to see Sting with the Bestie, and it was so much fun.  We also went to Reunion Tower.  I’ve never been up there during the day, but it has such a great view of the DFW area. We also had my little cousin’s birthday party.  I can’t believe how old all our girls are getting.  It’s crazy pants.

I’ve finished quite a few books. I’m definitely in a Rom-Com mood, so I’ve been reading lots of light and fluffy.  I’m also getting ready to participate in the Blog Ahead Challenge. So be expecting tons of new posts coming in the next few weeks.

What are you reading?  Anything awesome? How are you doing on your challenges?

Life and everything else

I promise I am alive! Life came at me super hard for a while but I am back on my feet! And reading plenty of books. My favorite right now seem to be leaning more towards self help books. I’ve also been watching a lot of tv and choosing it over books….. but we all have our vices right?

I’m in the middle of beginner Spanish classes. Learning another language is tough. What languages do you guys speak?

  1. What a lovely week, Katrina! I had to do the math about my horde of cousins who have birthdays in March (seriously, all three of their parents are siblings and had ALL but two of their like 10 kids in March!). They are getting so big and so much older! I just keep imagining them as little as they were when I last saw them.

Ashley, I took five years of Spanish in middle and high school. I actually liked it quite a bit, but the saying is so, so true. If you don’t use it, you lose it.
