Blake Harrison:Rich, titled, and charming…and in need of a wife by Wednesday. Blake turns to Sam Elliot, who isn’t the businessman he expected. Instead, Blake is faced with Samantha Elliot, beautiful and feisty with a voice men call 1-900 numbers to hear.
Samantha Elliot:Owner of matchmaking firm Alliance and not on the marital menu…that is, until Blake offers her ten million dollars for a one-year contract. And there’s nothing indecent about this proposal. The money will really help with her family’s medical bills. All Samantha will need to do is keep her attraction to her new husband to herself and avoid his bed.
But Blake’s toe-curling kisses and sexy charm prove too difficult for Sam to resist. It was a marriage contract that planned for everything…except falling in love.

Review

I love Samantha and Blake’s story. It was full of suspense, sweet moments, and laughter. I loved the witty banter and how their relationship blossoms. It’s unique, sexy and fun.

Carter Billings:Sandy blond hair and Hollywood good looks, Carter Billings could have any woman he wants. However, when he makes his bid for the Governor's seat in the state of California, he needs to settle down and become a family man. Eliza, the woman he secretly adores, embodies the perfect amount of spice and passion to suit his marital needs, but she's not interested in becoming Mrs. Billings. She can't even stand to be in the same room with him.
Eliza Havens:It's much easier to drive Carter away than to give into desire. Matching couples is how she earns a living, but getting married isn't an option. The secrets she carries are too dangerous to entangle anyone else. When her hidden identity and past threaten her future, she's left with little choice. Carter is quick to offer solutions to both their problems, but saying yes could mean endangering the man she's growing to love.

Review

Eliza and Carter have an obvious attraction to each other. One they’ve been dancing around for a while.  Eliza has some pretty intense secrets, and they could come to surface when she stands with Carter publicly. I loved everything about this couple.

Now, keeping her safe means keeping her close: in his arms — and in his bed. For as the danger ignites, so does their passion…

Review

What do you get when you have a Duchess and ex-military hottie? Sparks… that’s what you get. As you can tell I’m a huge fan of a slow burn. These two have it for each other bad, but they keep tiptoeing around the emotion. But a mission from Neil’s past could bring that all to a halt.

Karen JonesThe petite blonde married a Hollywood star, yet she’s the one who spends every day playing a part: the part of a happy wife. A year ago, she agreed to wed a famous actor to defuse rumors about his personal life. Now, her divorce sits just around the corner, along with a five million dollar payout. However, as she prepares to exit her fake marriage gracefully, her drop-dead-gorgeous brother-in-law walks through the door…and into her heart.
Zach GardnerDark-haired, blue-eyed hunk Zach crashes Michael and Karen’s fancy one-year anniversary party, determined to meet the wife his brother hid from their family. But sparks fly the moment he and Karen see each other. When the famous couple decides to visit the whole Gardner clan, Karen must keep Michael’s secret under wraps in front of his questioning relatives…including Zach, the man who could be the real love of her life.

Review

This one may be my favorite in the series. Things tend to go haywire when you fall for your husband’s brother. Even when the marriage to your husband isn’t real. Karen is such a sweet character. When she and Michael visit his family to put their minds at ease, the chemistry between Karen and Michael’s brother, Zach, grows. I enjoyed seeing them trying to get a grasp on their feelings and everything that takes place after.

He’ll do anything to keep her safe…for the rest of their lives.
Romance and excitement tie the knot in Taken by Tuesday, the fifth book in Catherine Bybee’s bestselling Weekday Brides series.
Judy Gardner: College graduate Judy stands ready to conquer the world…if she can get a job. Hoping to transition from aspiring architect to famous architect as quickly as possible, the dark-haired beauty moves to LA, staying in the home of her celebrity brother, Michael Wolfe. But it’s hard for Judy to focus on work when the sexy bodyguard she fell for last summer keeps showing up in her life and leaving her breathless.
Rick Evans: With his hard body, green eyes, and easy smile, Rick could have any woman he wants. But the Marine-turned- bodyguard only has eyes for Judy and her spitfire attitude. When a faceless villain attacks Judy, Rick will stop at nothing to protect the woman who opened his heart from the monster hunting her.

Review

Good gravy this one had my heart racing. The danger to Judy is very real, and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Rick is a bodygaurd that works for Neill, and I love how persistent he is to get a date with Judy. There interactions were incredibly sweet, and I loved reading every second of it.
