How I did during NaNoWriMo

I’m not going to lie… NaNoWriMo kicked my ass. I didn’t really hit my stride until the end of the month. I just wasn’t in the mood to write, and I’m not one to force myself to do it. I know that could change in the future, but right now, I’m happy with writing when I’m inspired.

I basically sat at 5000 words for weeks. Then I became motivated and wrote almost 30K in one night. I was writing for pretty much 7 hours straight. I didn’t even realize the time was flying by. When I sat down it was 7PM, but when I looked back up it was 2:30 in the morning. That’s how engrossed I was in the story I want to tell.

And now… I kicked NaNoWriMo’s ass. This is my third year participating and I’m finally a freaking WINNER!!!!

Now to start the grueling editing process, and getting a few people to read it so I know what needs to be fixed. Hello, Red Pen of Death… I’m not ready for you.

I’m in need of beta readers. If you’d like to read Welcome to Your Life fill out the form below.

Did you take part in NaNoWriMo? How did you do?
