Revenge is easy, but justice is worth fighting for…
Kenna is tired of being lied to—and hunted by the very allies she once trusted. Unearthing the dark secrets of the superhero world has not only endangered her life, now her boyfriend faces execution for crimes he didn’t commit and her mother is being held captive in a secret governmental prison.
Kenna is determined to stand up for what’s right and save those she loves from unspeakable fates. It’s time for the betrayal to end. It’s time for the real criminals to face justice.
But the truth is even more terrifying than Kenna could imagine. A conspiracy threatens the fate of heroes, villains, and all of humanity. If Kenna’s going to survive, she must draw on her deepest strength: her resilience. Because when Kenna’s pushed to the limit, she doesn’t break down. She fights back.

Quickie Review

So I’m going to make this a quick one.  I can’t say too much because it would have spoilers.  You definitely need to read the first book, Powerless, before diving into this one.  But you won’t be disappointed.

Relentless is action packed and fast paced.  You always have a sense of determining who the bad guy is and who you can trust.  There are also more secrets left to be uncovered.  There were a few parts where mu heart was stuck in my throat because I couldn’t even imagine the situations this group of heroes and villains find themselves in.

The things these kids accomplish is amazing.  They prove just how much they care about each other and how far they are willing to go to make things right.

I love these books, and hope y’all will give them a shot.

About Tera Lynn Childs

Tera Lynn Childs is the RITA-award-winning author of the mythology-based Oh.My. Gods. and Goddess Boot Camp, the mermaid tales Forgive My Fins, Fins Are Forever and Just For Fins, and a kick-butt trilogy about monster-hunting descendants of Medusa that includes Sweet Venom, Sweet Shadows, and Sweet Legacy. She has published two e-novellas, Goddess In Time and Pretty In Pearls, and self-published her City Chicks sweet chick lit series. Tera lives nowhere in particular and spends her time writing wherever she can find a comfy chair and a steady stream of caffeinated beverages.

About Tracy Deebs

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Tracy Deebs collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where — and sometimes who — she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story — something with a rainbow and a prince — and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes young adult novels that run the gamut from dark mermaids to cyberArmegeddon stories and sexy contemporaries to superheroes.
