Armchair BEA

Introduction

What is the name you prefer to use?

Hi everyone, I’m Katrina. Or, you can call me Trina.  Whichever you prefer. 😀

How long have you been a book blogger?

I’ve been a book blogger for over 4 years! That seems like a crazy amount of time, but it has flown by.

Have you participated in ABEA before?

Yes, I’ve participated the last 3 years. Maybe 4, but I can’t remember. 😛

What is your favorite genre and why?

Romance is by far my favorite genre, whether it be adult, new adult, or YA.  I love seeing happily ever afters, and seeing characters fall in love.  I guess I could say I’m in love with love. <3

If you could recommend one other book blogger, who would it be and why?

It’s so hard to narrow it down to just one.  There are a few book bloggers that I absolutely love.  But I think The Book Addict’s Guide would be my top pick.  Her reviews are amazing, and I love seeing her Book and Beverage posts.

How do you arrange your bookshelves? Is there a rhyme or reason? Or not at all? (#ABEAShelfie)

I organize my shelves alphabetical by author.  And I have them split up from YA and Adult.

What book are you most excited for on your TBR? What are you most intimidated by?

I’m pretty dang excited about Up in Flames by Abbi Glines.  It features a character we all love to hate. I’m most intimidated by One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid.  But that’s because I know I will need all the tissues. I always do when reading one of her books.

About Katrina @ Bookish Things

I’m a mom of two and love to read, listen to music, and rock out at concerts. Sometimes you can find me reading, or writing, in between sets at concerts. I read many genres, and have a TBR mountain.

  1. I really want to try some Taylor Jenkins Reid. I read a review on The Perpetual Page Turner that got me really interested. At the moment I’m reading The Novice by Taran Matharu, which was my most highly anticipated read on my TBR. I hope it’s good!

Looking forward to seeing you around Armchair BEA! 🙂
