Have you ever read a book and thought “Damn this song would go so great with this story?” Well, we are going to do that for you. When we find a book that completely grips our musical tastes we are going to share those songs with you. Hope you enjoy, and find some great songs to add to your playlist.
This series has me so absolutely enraptured. I adore Mercy and Flynn; I ship them. This series is one of those ones where you basically choose teams like with Twilight. I am Team Flynn. In this book we begin to see Mercy start considering Flynn (her boyfriend’s best friend) more seriously and we are torn apart and emotions are scattered. There is plenty of action to keep you on your toes, but there’s also a love square-not a triangle-that leaves you turning the pages (or swiping them) at 2:56 a.m. with no regrets the next morning. I am extremely surprised that this series is not super popular, because it has such an original and fresh story line that you don’t see coming. Flynn shows his bravery and sweeps the reader off their feet. So, if you’re into being swept off your feet, or a distraction from your actual life, like I often am, I highly recommend this book. I cannot get enough of Shannon Dermott’s stories. Happy reading!
