Better to be a hunter, not prey. Ever since her partner was kidnapped, Aurora Sky has been on a personal mission to get him back. To do that she needs the vampire responsible for destroying her life. In order to have a snowball’s chance at success, she’ll have to team up with her most loyal friends—including a certain vampire in black with a provoking talent for distraction. Old cravings aren’t easily quenched, nor past passions. With knowledge comes danger and Aurora is at risk on all sides.
I loved this installment in the Aurora Sky series.
Aurora can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to the agency and her vampire friends. At every turn something blows up in her face. It’s hard making plans with so many unknown variables out there. I did like getting to know more about Fane. His past was enlightening to the person he is now.
You can see the Aurora’s growth throughout the series. Even when situations seem dire she manages to keep hope. Although, sometimes she’s not sure she should. It’s no secret that I’m a total Fane fangirl! I love him in this book the most. We get to see him more, and he’s so sweet at times. I love his loyalty. Jared still gives me the heebie jeebies. I do not like him at all. And Valerie is still a bitch. I can’t believe how heinous she is.
The ending makes me want the next book even more. So many things happen, and the future is definitely uncertain.
TEAM FANE FOREVER!
