Scarlet remembers. Everything. Her past lives, Tristan, Gabriel, Nate: she remembers it all--including how to get to the Fountain of Youth. But time is running out.
Heather and Gabriel have been kidnapped by Raven, while the curse that has plagued Scarlet and Tristan for centuries has shifted, putting the star-crossed lovers in more danger than ever before. Water from the Fountain of Youth is the only thing that can save Scarlet and her loved ones. But the water comes at a price.
With lives--and hearts--at stake, Scarlet leads her friends on a dangerous journey to the Fountain of Youth. Where eternal life is possible, but death is certain.
I’m going to make this review short and sweet. Well maybe, you know how I am when I get going.
I absolutely love Scarlet in this book. We get a peek at her past lives, and she’s the same in all of them. She’s fierce, and doesn’t like being told what to do. Also Tristan is still full of so much yummy. 😀 Heather is still one of my favorite best friends in a book. She accepts everything that is going with Scarlet, and may even end up finding a romance of her own.
As I said before we get to see how Scarlet came back all the times before she awoke in Avalon. I liked seeing how her personality never changes, even when the times do. She never understands why she can’t be with Tristan, but she still tries despite him trying to stay away. I will say that Nate will always be one of my favorites in this series. We get to see him stand by his friends’ sides. He’s so loyal.
Also grab the tissue, there may be a time when you will need them. I found myself constantly trying to figure out if they were going to make it to the fountain, and if they could change the circumstances if they did find it.
