Goodreads Blurb: Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.

It can.

She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.

There is.

She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.

She’s wrong.

It has taken me a while to write a review for this book.  I just haven’t been sure how to put my thoughts down. I absolutely loved Unbecoming, but it left my mind like, “WTF.”

At first, I just thought this chick was crazy, but then I realized there is more going on with Mara than anyone would believe.  There were parts that I was completely freaked out when I read them. IT couldn’t, and still can’t, figure out exactly what’s going on.  But I can’t wait to find out!

I love the characters.  Mara is a great lead character. She’s strong willed, even when she is scared out of her mind and doesn’t know what’s happening.  She’s trying her hardest to figure out what is wrong with her.  All of the events that take place put and insane amount of pressure on her, and she doesn’t know how to handle it.  Mara hates being treated like she’s fragile.  Noah is awesome. He has a bad reputation among the female population at school.  With that said, he’s a completely different guy when he’s with Mara.  I think he means to do well and tries to help her find himself. She just doesn’t trust his intentions.  Noah understands so much more than his flippant attitude at school shows.  Jude gives me the creeps. He is seen through Mara’s flashbacks. Goodness, there is no way I’d be alone with him if you paid me.  He’s that guy that seems beyond awesome and charming, but turns out to be a jerk.

The location descriptions in Unbecoming are awesome. I felt like I was walking the streets of Florida. 😀 The book was pretty fast paced, and I couldn’t put it down.  Even when it was giving me crazy and weird dreams.  It was that great! GO READ NOW!
